Attachments Views, Filters, & Exports
You can navigate to the attachments tab by selecting Media, Files, or Tags from the site menu.
There are three tabs related to attachments, Media, Files & Tags. Selecting the Media tab shows a media library of any media uploaded to okapi.
Selecting the Files tab shows a file library of any files uploaded to okapi.
Selecting the Tags tab shows a list of available tags.
Filters allow you to refine what items are displayed on the screen. Depending on which tab you are viewing, media or files, determines what filter options are available.
In the media tab you see the filter menu on the right side of the screen by selecting Filters. You can filter media by Media Type, Attached To, Event Type, Activity Type, Program, Region, Market, and Upload Date.
When viewing media in the events or activities tab you can filter the media by Attached To and Media Type.
When viewing media associated with a place in the places tab you can filter media by Media Type.
In the filter tab you see the filter menu on the right side of the screen by selecting Filters. You can filter files by Attached To, Event Type, Activity Type, Program, Region, Market, and Uploaded Date.
When viewing files in the events or activities tab you can filter by Attached To.
Media and Files can be searched by name in events, activities, and places tabs through the search bar.
You can also use the search bar to search for media with a specific tag. In the image below 'Consumer' has been entered into the search bar and the media shown has a matching tag.
Media can be exported out of okapi in two different ways.
Individual pieces of media can be downloaded when you select the download icon. This method of download is the only option when viewing media in the events, activities, or places tab.
You can download individual pieces of media or multiple items in a bulk download when viewing media in the media tab.
After selecting the Bulk Download button you can select all, select specific items, download selected items and add or remove items from the selection.
Follow the steps below to complete a bulk download.
1. Select the plus icon to add an item to the selection.
2. Note that this image has a check mark over it meaning it has successfully be selected. You can remove this piece of media from the selected group by clicking on the minus icon.
3. Choosing Select All adds every piece of media to the selected group.
4. Choosing the Download button will initiate a download of a zip file containing the selected images.
In the example above, the zip download shows in the bottom left hand side of the screen. Depending on the your web browser, the download may be available in other locations.
To download files you can simply click the file name. This initiates a download of the selected file. Regardless of the tab you are viewing files in, the export process is the same.
